Applications are invited from Indian Nationals in prescribed form through online mode only for various faculty posts in AIIMS Rishikesh. Link for online application portal is available at institute website. On-line filling up of application form will start on 22.03.2023 (10:00 AM) and will automatically close on 24.04.2023 (23:59 hrs). No Documents including online application form is required to be sent, however, all applicants are advised to keep a copy of online application form with them, along with proof of payment (a Copy of online payment receipt) for their record.

Job Post Details:

  1. One post for Assistant professor and one for professor in Burns & Plastic Surgery department. Professor post is reserved for SC ans Assistant professor is for OBC.
  2. Four posts for Assistant professors and one for professor in Surgical Oncology department. Professor post is reserved for OBS ans One Assistant professor post is reserved for ST and THREE Assistant professor Posts reserved for OBC.
  3. One posts for Assistant professor and one for professor in Cardiothoracic Surgery department. Both posts are reseved for OBC candidates.
  4. One post for Assistant professor and one for professor in Dermatology department. Professor post is reserved for SC ans Assistant professor is for ST.
  5. One post for Assistant professor and one for professor in Endocrinology & Metabolism department. Professor post is reserved for ST ans Assistant professor is for OBC.
  6. Two posts for professors in General Medicine department. The posts are reserved for OBC candidates only.

I. Application Process:

Application Fees:

Fees shall be paid through online application portal only. Fee once remitted will not be refunded in any circumstances.

Documents:

Applicants should take print out of their complete application form sign it and bring it at time of interview along with
originals and attested photocopies of following certificates.
ü Age proof & Aadhar Card.
ü Residence proof.
ü Qualification proof (degree &Mark sheet).
ü NOC (no objection certificate) document for those who are working in Central/State Government /Semi Government Autonomous Institutions from their respective organization
ü Reserve category document
ü Experience certificate.
ü Dental / Medical council registration.
ü List of publication in indexed journals.

IV. Short Listing:

Prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing same does not entitle any candidate for selection. Based on bio-data, Selection Committee may short-list candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at time of interview.

V. Site of Interview:

Interviews will be held at AIIMS, Rishikesh. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for interview.

VI. Essential Qualification:


Experience for faculty posts (as on last date of submission of online application form i.e. 24.04.2023): (For teaching experience only experience of MCI recognized medical college will be considered. Experience of Dental / Physiotherapy / Nursing College will not be accepted.)

a) Professor:


For Medical Candidates:


Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of M.D./M.S./M.D.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in subject specialty for candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M/ M.Ch in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Non-Medical candidates:

Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience indiscipline / subject concerned after obtaining Ph.D.

b) Additional Professor:

For Medical Candidates:

Ten years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Eight years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Seven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in subject specialty for candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M./M.Ch. in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-Medical candidates:

Ten years teaching and/or research experience indiscipline / subject of concerned after obtaining Ph.D.

c) Associate Professor

For Medical Candidates:

Six years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in subject specialty for candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M. /M.Ch. in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-Medical candidates:

Six years teaching and/or research experience indiscipline / subject of concerned after obtaining Ph.D.

d) Assistant Professor

For Medical Candidates:

Three years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of M.D./M.S./M.D.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized degree in D.M./M.Ch
or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for candidates possessing three (3) years recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch.
or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-Medical candidates:


Three years teaching and/or research experience indiscipline / subject of concerned after obtaining Ph.D.

e) Essential Qualification in Department of Hospital Administration:

For Medical Candidates:


i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & ll or part ll of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-ll of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
ii) A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
OR
A Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from a recognized Institution/University or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
iii) Fourteen/ Ten/ Six/ Three years teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD/MS/MHA or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

For Non-Medical candidates:


i) Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized institution or a recognized qualification
equivalent thereto.
ii) Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration e.g. Masters’ Degree in Hospital Administration.
iii) Fourteen/ Ten/ Six/ Three years teaching and/or research experience in Hospital Administration in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree in Hospital Administration or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

VII. Age (as on last date of submission of online application form i.e. 24.04.2023):

Candidates applying on Direct Recruitment Basis:

Faculty Post: Age limit not exceeding 50 years for Assistantm Professor and Associate Professor and 58 years for Additional Professor and Professor. Candidates applying on Deputation Basis: The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions of deputation provided under Department of Personnel & Training as amended from time to time. Candidates applying on Contractual Basis: Professor /Additional Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant
Professor: – Not exceeding 70 (Seventy) years as on closing date.

Age relaxation permissible to various categories applying on Direct Recruitment Basis is as under:

SC/ST- 5 Years

OBC -3 Years

PwBD (OPH)- 5 Years

Government Servant -5 Years

VIII. Pay& Allowances:

Professor Level 14-A (Rs.168900-220400)

Additional Professor Level 13A-2 (Rs.148200-211400)

Associate Professor Level 13A-1 (Rs.138300-209200)

Assistant Professor Level 12 (Rs.101500-167400)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Candidate who is already working in government service will intimate his/her Employer.
  2. Applicants already in Government service shall have to produce Relieving Certificate from their present employer before joining Institute.
  3. Employees of Institute will be governed by New Pension Scheme as per provision contained in Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division). Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB&PR dated 22.12.2003.
  4. Residential accommodation to faculty staff appointed at Institute would be provided as per rules and subject to availability. H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand will be provided.
  5. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
  6. Prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
  7. Essential qualification must be registered with MCI / NMC.
  8. Appointment is full time and private practice of any type is prohibited.
  9. He/ She is expected to conform to rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to institute employees.
  10. Candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
  11. Reservation will be as per Government of India rules / guidelines.
  12. In case any information given or declaration by candidate is found to be false or if candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from service and any action taken as deemed fit by appointing authority.
  13. Decision of competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
