Note:

  1. The final allotment of posts will be based on merit-cum-preferences of the candidates.

2. Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates belonging to categories (2), (3), and (4) above must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.

8. Important Instructions to Candidates

  • The candidature of the candidates will be purely provisional at all stages of the examination.
